Everett Briggs

Everett (Ted) Briggs is a retired U.S. diplomat with service in Europe, Africa and Latin America. After leaving government, he headed the Americas Society, a non-profit cultural/educational organization in New York and its business-advocacy affiliate, the Council of the Americas. He and his wife Sally have been year-round residents of Norfolk since 1999, where both have been active in Northwest Corner volunteer activities, none more important to Ted than TLC.
