Richard Taber

Richard (Dick) Taber was born and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. where he graduated from The Germantown Friends School. He completed his AB at The University of Pennsylvania in 1963. He went on to earn a Masters in Social Work at Western Reserve. He practiced Social Work in several agencies which served children and families. Dick then joined the faculty at The Southern Connecticut State College, where he taught in the Education and Social Work Departments.
Dick then did a “mid career adjustment” when he enrolled in the Yale Divinity School, graduating in 1979. He worked as Assistant Pastor in Wilton, Connecticut, then moved to Salisbury, where he served for 27 Years until his “retirement.”
